This is a dream spot if you want to be truly "off the grid" for a few days (or perhaps longer). The isolated location, surrounded by nature and within a short walking distance of the ocean and its beautiful beach, is truly rare. The cottage is old, but very authentic, and certainly comfortable, well-maintained, and tidy.

For nature and animal lovers, it is a little paradise.

Our stay at Mosselkraker cottage was fabulous and the team and quickly to any requests or concerns

It was a lovely cozy stay.  The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.

The only hiccup is that the gas oven takes a long time to get warm and cook food.  So we opted to cook everything on the fire which was nice.

It is an ideal place to get out of the hustle and bustle

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home.  Our stay in Pondokkie was just what our little family needed to make the most of a few days of rest.  Fred gave us a warm and friendly welcome and made sure we had  smooth check in.  The perfect blend between bush and ocean.

Very tranquil countryside cottage!.  We were close enough to hear the ocean, gorgeous stargazing and bird watching, as well as a great braai space.  Comfy beds and nice outdoor shower too.  Will definitely be back to Pondokkie again for some R&R
